Tools for When It Matters Most
On-demand courses that give you practical tools to handle pressure, break unhelpful patterns, and take purposeful action — anytime, anywhere.
Act to Thrive exists to help you build the skills you need when life doesn’t go to plan.
Using a behavioural approach, we provide strategies and tools to handle difficult, unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and sensations — without letting them dictate your choices.
The goal isn’t to wait until life feels easy. It’s to know how to act with purpose, even when it’s hard.
Our work is grounded in behavioural science and informed by how physical state, attention, and long-term health influence behaviour under pressure.
We offer on-demand, self-paced courses you can start anytime. These programs give you:
-
Practical tools for high-pressure moments
-
Clear, step-by-step guidance you can apply right away
-
Downloadable exercises to help you practise the skills in real life
All courses are available in English and Spanish, with new topics coming soon.

How We ACT to Help You Take ACTion
Life’s challenges—whether it’s feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or burnt out—can pull you off course. Our on-demand courses offer practical tools to help you respond to these challenges and take meaningful steps towards what matters to you.
Each course approaches a different behavioural pattern from a different angle, examining what drives it, what keeps it in place, and how it affects the choices you make.
Current courses include:
-
Hard Moment, Wise Move: Tools to navigate life’s toughest moments with clarity and confidence.
-
Before It Closes
An exploration of why decision-making breaks down under certain financial conditions, and how those conditions shape behaviour before a choice is experienced as a choice. -
Under Social Threat
An exploration of how anticipated judgment, rejection, and other social consequences influence behaviour—and why socially safer choices can take priority over your own direction.
Every course also includes a practical Next-Move Guide, designed to help you apply what you have learned to a situation you are facing and decide what to do next.
Courses are available in English and Spanish, with more on-demand courses coming soon.
Behavioural frameworks help us understand how behaviour works. They do not remove the need to make decisions in our own lives.
We built The Next-Move Guide because there is often a gap between understanding a behavioural process and applying that understanding in a specific situation.
Our aim was to create a practical extension of the learning experience—one that helps bridge that gap without replacing the framework itself.
The Next-Move Guide reflects the same philosophy as our courses: understanding should not remain theoretical. It should help inform the next move you take when it matters.
Why We Built the Next-Move Guide

Meet Adi
Mental Health Practitioner & Behavioural Therapist

With over 23 years in the health and wellness industry — spanning Traditional Chinese Medicine, personal training, and health coaching — I bring a unique, integrative perspective to mental well-being. My work is grounded predominantly in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a form of behavioural therapy, combined with a practical, real-world approach that helps people apply proven strategies in everyday life.
Through on-demand programs, digital mental health solutions, and collaborative projects, I help individuals and communities handle pressure, break unhelpful patterns, and take meaningful action toward what matters. My goal is simple: to create science-backed, accessible resources that support lasting change — anywhere, anytime.
